Dedicated LGV Website

As I am working towards completing translating the Last Generation Version of the NT, I also intend to build a dedicated website for the LGV. I have purchased the domain name “thelgv.org” for this purpose (please save the link). Currently, that link points to the LGV page on 4Winds, for which I also have created a new header image. But after I complete the two books remaining, Matthew and Mark, I intend to migrate all of the LGV pdf files to a new dedicated hosting site and build an index. I am not doing it yet because I am still focused on translating, I don’t want to have to pay the monthly hosting fee for two separate websites, and I do not want to open the new dedicated site until after I have completed all of the books and have gone back through them (especially the notes) and made any needed revisions. I want to do it when I have a completely finished New Testament so when I open the new site, everything is complete. Also, I intend to provide printed New Testaments which can be ordered through Amazon as inexpensively as possible.

There are several of you who have sent me a number of corrections over the years for various LGV books, most of which I have edited and corrected. For this I am extremely grateful. But as I near completion of my translating work and shift towards reviewing, editing, and correcting the books, I will need some help in the proofreading & correcting department. Completing this process with each individual book/file is critically important before I merge all of them together into a single large file to be submitted to the printer. This is because any change at all, in the text or footnotes, then alters the formatting of everything that follows, which would make editing and extremely large file extremely challenging and time-consuming. I started this project nearly 20 years ago and have poured literally thousands of hours into it, and there are probably hundreds more needed. I am asking for volunteers who can proof-read, double check the cross-references, and also offer suggestions including perhaps footnotes in older files that may no longer reflect accurately our most recent understandings of doctrinal nuances. Those who have followed my ministry for a long time can probably recognize these and offer suggestions. Any corrections should not be forwarded to me yet, until I complete the translation work. Otherwise, I will get bogged down in making individual edits before I am ready to make my own final proof-read and corrections. I will begin by proofing each book first and making the edits I think necessary and then ask the volunteers to proof-read that book also to see if I missed something. So, if you have very good English grammar or any other relevant skills, and have time to do any of this, let me know please. Also, any suggestions for the new website are also appreciated.

UPDATE 8/26/25: Randy Anderson contacted me, and his entire Fellowship is going to take on the entire project of proofing the LGV, working together as a team. So no more volunteers are needed. 🙂 Thanks to all who offered.
