Trump’s “Triumphal Arch”
In February I posted an article called “Is this just a coincidence?” It concerned President Trump’s proposed “Independence Arch” in Washington DC which he first announced during Sukkot in 2025, and whether this might have some kind of prophetic implications regarding the fulfillment of Revelation 12.
On Friday, April 10th, the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Trump posted an update on Truth Social. He announced that the construction plans have been finalized and submitted to the Commission of Fine Arts. Interestingly, he now refers to it as the “Triumphal Arch” instead of the “Independence Arch” which he previously called it. Trump seems to be anticipating this arch being a monument to his supposed victory over Iran and ridding the world of the cancer of Islamic radicalism. The text in large gold letters on the side facing the Lincoln Memorial states: “One Nation under God,” and on the side facing Arlington National Cemetery states “Liberty and Justice for All.”

Its looking more and more like Trump may fulfill the first Seal, the first horseman of the Apocalypse, a rider on a white horse carrying a bow who goes forth conquering as I suggested in a post on October 2025 titled, “Is this the 1st Horseman of the Apocalypse?” I think Trump views himself as a second Constantine the Great. His “Triumphal Arch” is seemingly patterned after Constantine’s arch in Rome.

Constantine’s arch commemorates his victory at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in AD 312. Constantine claimed that he saw a vision of a cross in the sky, with the words, “With this sign you will conquer.” He then allegedly placed a cross on the shields of his army and had a decisive victory. This was his alleged conversion to Christianity, even though he delayed baptism until he was on his death bed. Constantine is famous for making Christianity legal throughout the Empire and thus ending the Roman persecutions of Christians. It is ironic that his arch is right next to the Colosseum where countless Christians were previously martyred by Rome. In AD 325, Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea which effectively made him the head of the church of Rome. Isn’t it interesting that Trump is currently having a spat with the pope. He sees the pope as weak and woke, and himself as the real defender of Christianity and Israel.
