The END of “Mystery Babylon”

The END of “Mystery Babylon”

May 7, 2025 Timothy Comments 11 comments

Today, in the heart of “Mystery Babylon, Mother of Harlots,” the conclave to select a new pope commences. Bishops wearing purple and Cardinals wearing red1 have flocked to Rome for this occasion. The death of pope Francis at this juncture in world history is significant. The Roman Catholic Church has been drifting to the left for some time, but Francis was far more radical than any of his predecessors.

The woman has been riding the “beast” (Satan) for a very long time. She has commonly danced with the political rulers of Europe, and Francis was no exception, bending the Church to the currents of culture and politics. As Europe embraced the “woke,” so also did pope Francis: blessing homosexual unions, promoting climate alarmism, condemning Israel for defending itself, and condemning president Trump for enforcing immigration law, all the while twisting Scripture to justify these and more.

It is clear from Revelation 17-18 that during the tribulation the Ten Kings of Europe, the ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s image,2 will destroy “Mystery Babylon” and burn her with fire,3 and then align themselves with the Antichrist. This raises the question of, “Why?” If Rome has been dancing and fornicating with the political powers of Europe,4 why would the powers of Europe suddenly violently destroy her?

If I am reading the current situation in Europe correctly, its rush to to rid itself of Christianity and embrace leftist radicalism is increasing exponentially. This is accompanied by increasing rabid hatred for conservative and traditional Judaeo-Christian values. What is left of democracy in Europe will be replaced by totalitarianism (the “iron” of the iron and clay mixture of the feet and toes).

If the Roman Catholic Church, which wields great influence in European elections, attempts to push back strongly against the massive corruption within its own ranks, attempting to correct course, it will become the enemy of the rising Ten-King European confederacy. Consequently, in the not-too-distant future I expect a radical shift in the Roman Catholic hierarchy towards a very conservative position. I could be wrong, but I am anticipating a very conservative pope to emerge who is as radical in reforming the Roman Church as Trump has been in reforming the United States of America. If I am right about this, things would change in Europe quickly since this would greatly influence European elections as Catholics turn out to vote. The “woke” powers that be will not stand for this and will push back even harder than they are now, suppressing democracy in the name of defending democracy.

On average, popes have lasted only about 8 years, and some much less. Time is running out for “Mystery Babylon,” and the last pope must come relatively soon. We are living in very interesting times.

While I don’t give much credence to ‘prophecies’ coming from the RCC, it is intriguing that what is happening in Europe, especially with the election of the next pope coincides with Malachy’s cryptic predictions, in addition to what your assertions are in TTOTE.
I have also read the assertions (see Tim Cohen’s “The Antichrist and a Cup of Tea) that the British royal family is intimately involved, perhaps even King Charles being the son of perdition.

I’m continuing to pray for Gods guidance and discernment in all of this, eyes wide open.

All we can do is compare current trends to what the Bible says will occur just before Jesus returns. Keeping an eye on Rome, “Mystery Babylon, mother of Harlots,” is a key part of this, as well as the political situation in Europe.

Well, a new pope has been elected today…the first American pope, they say and a lot of people are proud of. Considered as conservative as far as church doctrine, from what I’ve gathered so far. Tim, this is interesting to me because it really lines up with what you discussed in your post about the new pope being a conservative.

From what I am reading, the new pope is more in the mold of Francis, and may have been put in a position by Francis to continue his leftist ideology. We will soon see.

    Tim

Please give examples of scripture being twisted to condem President Trump enforcing immagration law. Also, does the two witnesses being their mission at the beginning of the 70th/tribulation/the last set of seven and do you still believe that John will be one of them?

    Thanks

      Nicole,

I agree with what Randy said.

Regarding pope Francis’ opposition to Trump: “Pope Francis consistently opposed Donald Trump’s immigration policies, particularly those involving mass deportations and border enforcement. In a February 2025 open letter to U.S. Catholic bishops, Francis criticized Trump’s immigration crackdown, calling it a “major crisis” and warning that policies built on force “begin badly and will end badly.” He argued that deporting migrants, many fleeing poverty, violence, or persecution, violates human dignity and rejected narratives equating illegal immigration with criminality. Earlier, in January 2025, he labeled Trump’s deportation plans a “disgrace” on an Italian talk show, emphasizing the harm to vulnerable people. Francis also clashed with Trump during his first term, notably in 2016, when he said anyone who builds walls to keep out migrants, referencing Trump’s proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall, is “not Christian.” [He said this while hiding behind Vatican walls with its guards to keep people out]. “The Pope’s stance aligned with his broader advocacy for migrants, a cornerstone of his papacy, where he urged nations to welcome and protect those fleeing hardship, within their capacity. He also indirectly rebuked Vice President JD Vance’s defense of deportations, challenging Vance’s use of Catholic theology to prioritize national over universal love.” (Grok AI, answer to: “Did pope Francis oppose Trump’s immigration policies?”)

Open borders and mass migration is completely changing the face of Europe. The real root of pope Francis’ opposition to Trump’s nationalist policies is the fact that the Roman Catholic Church is more of a political entity than a Christian one. Christ founded His “church” to be a “called out assembly” of individual followers separated from the world, to live in the world as “salt and light,” and to meet in local gatherings to encourage and support one another. Christian churches and individual Christians were not intended to organize for political movements, but to be humbly subject to the secular governmental authorities in whatever nation one lives. When governmental policies cause harm to Christians and/or bring persecution, Christians are commanded to embrace the hardship with patient endurance, not to organize against it.

However, the Catholic Church views itself as the supreme authority, “the Kingdom of God” on earth, and the pope as the “Vicar” (representative) of Christ seated on Christ’s Throne and reigning over all nations. In other words, rather than Christians being subject to the secular national authorities as Scripture commands, Catholic theology has its own usurped authority and governmental structure imposed over all of Christianity (as a single Christian nation) regardless of national borders. Thus, Rome attempts to exercise authority over national governments by its mass influence over Catholics in those nations and by direct involvement in politics as their own nation-state. While they have no army, they apply political pressure by their heavy influence over the Catholic masses (who vote) throughout Europe, America, and in many other nations.

So, with this bastardized-Christian-kingdom’s usurped authority and claimed embodiment of Christ’s kingdom and rule over all nations, Rome then mixes in the genuine teachings of Christ which were actually meant to guide individual Christians. This is where the charitable aspects of Catholicism come into play, “love your enemies,” “give to the poor” etc.. These genuine Christian teachings are then taken out of the realm of responsibility of the individual Christian as being “salt and light” and made policy for governing. This is what leads to the kind of policies of pope Francis who thought that there should be no borders, and that the US and Europe ought to embrace all immigrants with open borders regardless of it utterly destroying their economies, social orders, and national identities. This is what happens when a bastardized theology/eschatology meant for the age to come (where Christ Himself reigns) is imposed upon this present age where Christ’s authority as King is supposed to be held back, as Christ is seated at God’s right hand WAITING for the fulfillment of God’s promise to establish Him as King on Zion. Pseudo-Christians are trying to be “kings and priests” to reign NOW when in fact we are supposed to be “servants,” waiting to become “kings and priests” when our King is established by God on Mt. Zion (Rev. 20:1-4).

    Hi Nicole,
To answer two of your questions, yes the two witnesses mission will be during the first portion of Daniels 70th week. In Revelation 11, notice that the two witnesses are on the scene while worshipping is taking place in the Temple. This will not be allowed after the Abomination of Desolation, which takes place toward the middle of Daniels 70th week. The 1260 days is the period the Jews will be worshipping and in Rev 11:3 shows that is when power will be given to those two to prophesy.
Regarding John being one of them, I think scripture points strongly to this. Revelation 1:9 John says “your brother and companion in THE tribulation”. That definite article shows specificity as you well know. At the end of Revelation 10, John is told that he will “prophesy again”, which did not take place as this was just prior to Johns death. Then the very next chapter (11) he begins talking about the two witnesses.

I am sure Tim can add more for clarity, but hope this helps you in the interim.

    Love in Christ

Agreed. Also, the 1260-day prophesying of the 2 witnesses occurs just BEFORE Rome is destroyed by the 10 kings of Europe. Consequently, the testimony of the 2 Witnesses (esp. John) may have significant influence on the Vatican, especially if John’s prophesying is crystal clear that “Mystery Babylon” is Rome. I am wondering how Catholics and the Catholic cardinals, bishops, etc. would react to such a message? Perhaps many will heed the warning to “come out of her My people,” which IMO is a specific command of Jesus to Roman Catholics. If heeded, this may imply a radical shift in Rome’s conscience and an attempt to course correct, thus leading to the destruction of Rome by the 10 kings. (This is an idea worth considering).

I think that 1260 is not days but years and represents the catholic church coming to power and the receiving the “seemed” mortal would in 1798 by napoleon. after that even the Bible (two witnesses, the law and the prophets) were outlawed for 3.5 years. but were ressurected and triggered the 1800 revivals that took place. the word of God was dressed in sacloth for 1260 years
prior (being the Bible was only in latin) no one could understand. two witnesses are the word of God not real individuals as people belive.

        Scott,
Tim Warner has made a series of videos on YouTube where IMO it becomes evident that the 1260 days is the first half of the 70th week of Daniel, i.e. the tribulation. The videos may bee seen here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8QpleuPrHrCh04GlHxCgTJhMhuGlGKD3

Also, I have made a booklet where the 1260 days may be found on pages 31-33. (The main focus of the booklet is not the tribulation but the biblical chronology.) I may be found here: https://gardeborn.se/onewebmedia/H%C3%A4ften2/Bible%20Chronology%20English.pdf

    Tim

I have your book The Time of the End and the chronology uses 49yrs plus a year for the Jubilee. What is your opinion about adding a year of Jubilee (for recompense)after the 7yrs of tribulation and after that year of Jubilee then begins the 1000yr reign. I don’t recall this subject in your book. If your book discusses this, would you reference the chapter/s.

    Thanks
    Nicole
