Seven Years of Plenty?
It has been thirteen years since my book The Time of the End was published. In this book I laid out the case that the earliest Christians were absolutely correct in their claim that Christ’s Kingdom would arrive on earth 6,000 years from creation, that this claim is apostolic. I then presented the case that the Feast calendar in Lev. 23 and Sabbatical-Jubilee calendar in Lev. 25 provide the grid for all biblical chronology, and that the 120 years allotted to mankind in Genesis 6:3 refers to Jubilee Years (which occurs every 50th year). This equals 6,000 years, followed by Christ’s 1000-year rule, the Millennial “Sabbath Rest” of Hebrews 4 and Revelation 20. Over the last 13 years my opinion has not changed on these points despite being first challenged by the late Dr. Leslie McFall, and then by someone who had been formerly associated with my ministry. I have tried to consider the critiques as objectively as I possibly could and have concluded that both men made many mistakes in their critiques and were not being objective.
In the second part of the book I laid out my original chronological research, using the biblical data alone (intentionally ignoring secular chronological dates) to see if the chronological data in the Bible could agree with the Millennial Sabbath ideas of the early Christians. In doing so, I discovered many “coincidences” which in my mind display God’s sovereignty in controlling the course of history, thus strengthening my own faith in God. Again, having considered the critiques of this part of my work, I remain 100% convinced of the overall correctness of the Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast chronology and major AM dates outlined in my book. Diane and I and have lived and planned accordingly, and we continue to do so.
However, I was also quite clear in my book that there will always be an area of uncertainty. This is in how we can link the biblical Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast calendar to our secular Roman calendar. In other words, I was, and still am, confident that the major AM dates (Anno Mundi – year of the world) which are listed in my book are correct. The uncertainty has always been in whether the secular dates for Jesus’ crucifixion (AD 30) and the destruction of Jerusalem (AD 70) on our Gregorian calendar are reliable so that we can link the Sabbatical-Jubilee-Feast AM dates for these events to our calendar and thus calculate when the 6,000th year will occur. For example:
“The second exile began forty years after Jesus’ crucifixion when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, as predicted by both Daniel and Jesus. If the secular historical dates are correct, this exile began in the Jewish year which covers the fall of AD 69 to the fall of AD 70. Add the 1,960 years of Israel’s second exile and we have the year 2029-2030. This is when the 70th week will begin – on Rosh Hashanah 2029. It will conclude on Yom Kippur 2036, IF the calendar-date of AD 30 for the crucifixion, and the calendar-date of AD 70 for the destruction of Jerusalem, are accurate.” (TOTE p. 321)

“Using the Jubilee chronology presented here to predict the date for the second coming is only as reliable as the Gregorian calendar dates with which we link it, the dates for Jesus’ crucifixion (AD 30) and the destruction of Jerusalem (AD 70). These dates should not be assumed to be infallible. Any error in these secular dates skews the date for the second coming by that amount. In any case, historians almost unanimously put the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70, and the year of Jesus’ crucifixion is recognized by many if not most scholars as AD 30. These two major events are not likely to be off by more than a few years. If they are correct, the 70th week will begin on Rosh Hashanah, September 11, 2029. Jesus will return on Yom Kippur, October 1, 2036, six-thousand years exactly from Adam’s sin and expulsion from Eden. This assumes, of course, that our Jubilee calendar is correct.” (TOTE, pp. 328-9)
A lot has happened since I published my book. Events of the last few years are quite convincing to me that we are on the very verge of the time of Great Tribulation. The critics who attempted to deface, dismiss, and overthrow the Millennial Week concept and my work in reconstructing the biblical chronology are wrong. The implication, that Christ’s return may be many years, decades, or even centuries away, is a recipe for disaster (Matt. 24:48-51 & 2 Pet. 3:1-8). The Millennial Week theory of the early Christians is not only historical, it is absolutely biblical and apostolic. We are very close to the 6000th year when Christ’s Kingdom absolutely will arrive on earth. The radical changes in the situation in the middle east, especial Israel, and events in the United States are setting the stage for the final drama described in the prophets, the Gospels, and Revelation.
Right after the US election last November, I posted an article on this blog titled, Thoughts on the Re-election of Donald Trump. In that article I floated the idea that recent events very well could lead to the United States (or a part of it) fulfilling much of Revelation 12, becoming the place of safety for the persecuted Church, the “Woman” who flees into the wilderness to the place previously “prepared by God.” In light of these ideas, I have been attempting to see how the biblical chronology presented in my book could be synchronized with the events that are now beginning to occur in the US and middle east due to the reelection of Donald Trump.
Not long after I wrote the book in 2012 I also floated the idea of a parallel between the end times and the events of Genesis 41-42. It is obvious to the serious student of biblical prophecy that there are many intentional parallels between Israel’s history and the events described in Revelation. For example, according to Jesus in Matt. 25:15 the “Abomination of Desolation” committed by Antiochus Epiphanes during the time of the Maccabees will be repeated in the end times. Also, the plagues in Revelation clearly mimic the plagues upon Egypt at the time of the exodus. The key to understanding end-time prophecy is its parallels in the Bible’s history, how symbolism was used by the prophets to warn of those events. Yet another parallel very well may be between Revelation 12 and Joseph’s interpretation of Pharaoh’s dream along with its fulfillment. This was essentially that the seven years of famine (corresponding to the seven years of tribulation) are preceded by seven years of plenty in order to prepare a location to preserve God’s elect during the following seven years of trouble. This parallel also seems to extend to Jacob and his sons fleeing to Egypt to survive the famine. I have held this theory somewhat loosely for quite a few years, mentioning it from time to time. Diane even painted a sign above the entrance to our garden which we named “Seven Fat Cows,” picturing 7 fat cows. I was looking for such a seven-year period of abnormal prosperity to begin somewhere around 2022 as a confirmation of this theory and perhaps as a confirmation that the tentative connection to the Gregorian calendar in my book was correct. But that did not occur then. Yet it seems it may be beginning now, three years after I was expecting. Time will tell. So, let’s assume that the Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast chronology in my book is correct, yet the secular dates for the crucifixion and destruction of Jerusalem may be off by a few years, and see what happens.
It should be noted that about 500 years after Christ, the famous monk-historian Dionysius Exiguus calculated how many years had elapsed from Jesus’ birth to his day using official records of the Roman Empire which were available to him. He marked the first year from Jesus’ birth as the first “Year of our Lord” (Anno Domini {AD}), calculating that his current year was 525 AD. In this system, the year 2025 would be the 2025th year after Jesus’ birth, Jesus’ human age.
Yet much more recent scholarship challenged this, claiming a conflict with alleged “proof” that Herod died in 4BC, yet he was alive at Jesus’ birth according to the Gospels when he ordered the slaughter of the infants. This caused many to amend the date of Jesus’ birth to 4BC, about 3 years earlier (there is no year zero). Consequently, most biblical scholars and commentators believe that our modern calendar years are off by 3 years from Jesus’ birth (although some place his birth as far back as 6 BC).
Yet, even this has been challenged by other modern scholars who claim that the date for Herod’s death was incorrectly placed too early, linked to the wrong eclipse, thus claiming that the original date for Jesus’ birth given by the monk-historian Dionysius Exiguus was likely correct.1 Also, as many of you know, biblical scholars are divided on the date for Jesus’ crucifixion. Some hold to AD 30 (largely because of the 4BC dating of His birth), but many others hold to AD 33 from other considerations. Again, this is a discrepancy of 3 years in the same direction.
My book assumes that the AD 30 date is most likely correct and based its tentative calculations for the end-time events on that crucifixion date. But, what if the original “Year of Our Lord” dating system was actually correct and the AD 33 date for the crucifixion is also the correct date? Everything shifts forward by 3 years. Linking the Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast calendar derived from the Bible alone to this date would mean that the 6000th year from creation, the 120th Jubilee, would not be 2036-37, but rather 2039-40. If so, Daniel’s 70th week would begin in the fall of 2032, and the “Abomination of Desolation” would occur at Passover 2036.
Now let’s suppose that the parallel between Pharaoh’s dream and the end-times was intentional, and there is a 7-year period of “plenty” for whatever location God has chosen to be the destination(s) for the “Woman” who flees to the wilderness to safety during the reign of Antichrist. Let’s also suppose that the United States is this place of safety, and that Trump’s reforms will lay the groundwork for this. How then would all of this fit with the chronology in The Time of the End?
1. Subtracting 7 years from the beginning of the 70th week (Rosh Hashana of 2032) to find the beginning of the seven plentiful years brings us to Rosh Hashana September 24th, 2025. If this theory is correct, around this date we should begin to see some distinct signs of a significant shift in prosperity in the United States which would last for seven years, until the fall of 2032 when the two prophets would begin calling down plagues in Jerusalem for 1260 days (Rev. 11).
2. During this period, we should also expect to see the rise of the Ten Kings (Dan. 2,7 & Rev. 17) from the remains of the “4th Beast” of Dan. 7, the old Roman Empire (Europe). This seems very plausible now, even likely, given that the Trump administration seems intent on the US backing away from both the UN and its previous full support for NATO, and is more inclined towards economic isolationism.
3. It is noteworthy also that the “Abomination of Desolation” which is “in the midst of the [70th] week” (Dan. 9:26) would fall on Passover, April 13, 2036 (Nisan 14th using the new moon observation method). Two important “coincidences” emerge regarding this Passover:
A. On April 13, 2036, the asteroid “Apophis” will make its nearest, extremely close, pass to earth. Some astronomers have claimed that Apophis is on a collision course with earth. “Apophis” means “Destroyer,” named of the Egyptian god of destruction. This is the name Revelation 9 associates with an object which falls from the sky. There the name given is “Apollyon” in Greek and “Abaddon” in Hebrew, both meaning “Destroyer.” In the sequence of events in Revelation, this event is the 5th Trumpet judgement, the first of the “three woes” which begins the last half of the 70th week. If “Apophis” is indeed what Revelation 9 refers to, this puts the timing precisely where we would expect it, at Passover, April 13, 2036, the mid-point of the 70th week.
B. Revelation 11 tells us that the two witnesses will prophesy for 1260 days followed by their execution and resurrection 3.5 days later, giving a total of 1263.5 days. Assuming their resurrection also occurs on this Passover, subtracting 1263.5 days from April 13, 2036 we arrive at Oct. 27, 2032. This happens to be the last (8th) day of Sukkot (Tabernacles) which Jews call “Shemini Atzeret,” when the final portion of Torah (“Simchat Torah” – Deut. 33-34) is read publicly to the whole assembly. This passage is Moses’ individual blessing upon each of the 12 Tribes, followed by the reading of Moses’ death and burial. If our previous assumption is correct regarding the date of Jesus’ birth, this day in 2032 will be the 2000th anniversary of “the Last Day, the Great Day of the Feast” mentioned in John 7:37-40. On that day Jesus cried out at the Temple, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” To this many replied, “Truly this is THE Prophet.” The crowd made this assumption based not only on Jesus’ statement, but also because He made His declaration on “the Last Day, the Great Day of the Feast” when the last 2 chapters of Deuteronomy are read and Moses’ death and burial is recounted. The same Moses prophesied the coming of the new Law-Giver, “a Prophet like unto me” (Deut. 16). Judging by the patterns so evident in Revelation, where end-time events seem to be mirror images of past historical events, it seems appropriate that the two prophets in Revelation 11 (especially Elijah) would begin their preaching ministry on this exact date, being the forerunners of the Messiah’s arrival (cf. Mal. 4).
Finally, as I did when writing my book thirteen years ago, I must stress that I am no prophet, I am making no predictions. The things I write are my current opinions and/or ideas I am considering based on decades of study of Bible prophecy and early Christian history. These opinions continue to be modified as current events unfold. Please treat them as informed opinions and not predictions. Let us all follow Jesus’ advice in Luke 21:36 “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

I have read TOTE at least twice (along with the critique by the aforementioned former associate of your ministry) and The Mystery of the Mazzaroth. I found both works to be fascinating, and I remain convinced of your conclusions. The idea of the U.S. being the “great eagle” of Rev 12 has always been in the back of my mind as an interpretation of the symbolism of that chapter.
Have you looked into how the signs in the Mazzaroth correlate to this idea concerning the U.S. and the shift in timing you have posited?

I have not looked into that specifically, and off the top of my head I can’t think of how the Mazzaroth ideas would be involved in this question. If you think of something, please post it.
Tim, This would mean that the temple was destroyed in 73 AD. Is this possibe from secular history?
Yes, it may require that. Is it possible? Sure. All of the secular dates are subject to error and false assumptions since a continuous calendar was not kept until AD 525. My entire book goes contrary to a host of secular dates which are viewed as “certain” by secular historians, so this would be nothing new. Again, I am only suggesting this as a possibility, as it is based on certain assumptions as well which could turn out to be wrong, especially if the proposed 7-years of plenty is not parallel to the end times.
UPDATE: I just did a little reading on the destruction of Jerusalem. The vast majority of what we know about the destruction of Jerusalem comes from a single source, Josephus, and he has been shown to be mistaken on several historical points. I also noted that while the Temple itself was allegedly destroyed in AD 70, the war continued as the Romans dismantled virtually the entire city of Jerusalem. The Jewish – Roman war continued until the Romans finally overthrew the last Jewish stronghold with the massacre at Masada in AD 73. So even if the secular date is correct for the destruction of the Temple, perhaps we should be calculating from the end of the war (the final defeat of Israel) rather than from the destruction of the Temple. If so, this fits nicely with the 3-year possible discrepancy described in my post.

Hi Tim,
It is certain that the “biblical Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast calendar” is correct. We do have a general idea of when things will go down and as certain makers occur our accuracy will become more defined. I get your opinions on how things may play out and know that we are fallible and will not see more clearly until events like those in 2 Th 2 unfold. We need to keep our focus on Christ and our walk with Him and a heart for the brethren like Barton Stone.

Yes indeed. IMO, we should not take any dates as certain UNTIL we see the 2 witnesses begin their testimony which signals the beginning of the 70th week.

1. If the gap between the 69th and the 70th week starts at Masada, Dan 9:26 makes perfect sense: “The end of it shall be with a flood, And till THE END OF THE WAR desolations are determined.”
2. There are three players in the end time scenario relevant for the possible flight to the US: the 144k of Rev 7:4, the woman of Rev 12 and the “rest of her offspring” of Rev 12:17.
* Are the two first the same entity?
* If the woman is “the church” (separate från the 144k Jews), who are “her offspring”?

Very good observation about Dan. 9:26. I completely missed that! I just noticed that this verse is translated somewhat differently in various versions. Some have “desolations” occurring until the end of the war, but others (like the NRSV) seem to imply that “desolations” (plural) of Jerusalem follow the war and continue until the end of the age, which seems more consistent with Jesus’ prediction in Luke 21:24. Also, Jerusalem being “desolate” was the terminology used throughout Jeremiah and in Daniel for its continuous condition for 70 years after Nebuchadnezzar’s overthrow, (Jer. 25:11; Dan. 9:2, compare to Luke 21:20). So it seems that the “desolations” of Jerusalem should be counted from the end of the war, which is the final defeat of Israel at Masada in AD 73, rather than from the destruction of the Temple. If this is the correct interpretation of Dan. 9:26, it adds considerable confirmation to the theory I presented in my post. Thanks for pointing that out.
RE: Rev. 12, IMO there is no question that the “woman” who flees to the wilderness was intentionally borrowed from Paul’s allegory in Gal. 4. There, Sarah is the “woman” (“the mother of us all”), as we are the offspring of “the free woman.” Hagar is the mother of Jews who cling to the old covenant in Paul’s allegory. Thus Sarah, the free woman, represents all of the redeemed. This was also clearly the view of the earliest Christians who taught that Christians (Jew and Gentile) are the real “Abraham’s seed,” and that natural Jews who reject Christ are cut off from Abraham, as Paul’s parable in Romans 11 indicates. The early Christians interpreted the “woman” of Rev. 12 as “the Church” collectively. I am convinced they were right. Obviously, Sarah as a single individual does not flee, but ONLY her children who are represented by Sarah. Also keep in mind that Jesus gave instructions in Matt. 24:15 to His own followers to “flee” Judea when they see “the abomination of desolation,” and in Luke 17 He even warned Christians regarding this flight to safety, saying, “Remember Lot’s wife”. These warnings were for Christians and correspond to the same mid-point of the 70th week. After the flight to safety of Christians, Antichrist turns his attack on “the REST of her offspring,” those who did not flee to the place of safety.
I think some make the mistake of thinking that the following clause, “… of those who keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus”, refers exclusively to “the REST of her offspring” who do NOT flee to safety, thus excluding the “woman.” But that is not the case. This clause identifies the “woman” as representative of her collective offspring (just as “Israel” who is Jacob becomes the collective name for the whole nation). Here the “woman” includes all of the redeemed, including her children who flee to safety and those who remain behind. Antichrist then attacks the remnant left behind out of the larger group which is described as “those who keep the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus”. In other words, the last clause was John’s way of identifying who the woman represents, not identifying only a remnant left behind.
UPDATE: One more point worth considering is that according to the Talmud, for the last 40 years prior to the destruction of the Temple there were annual supernatural signs affecting the Temple.
“Our Rabbis taught: During the last forty years before the destruction of the Temple the lot [‘For the Lord’] did not come up in the right hand; nor did the crimson-coloured strap become white; nor did the westernmost light shine; and the doors of the Hekal would open by themselves, until R. Johanan b. Zakkai rebuked them, saying: Hekal, Hekal, why wilt thou be the alarmer thyself? I know about thee that thou wilt be destroyed, for Zechariah ben Ido has already prophesied concerning thee: Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.” (Talmud, Yoma 39b)
Yet it would be amazing indeed if the tearing of the Temple veil was omitted from this 40-year period (occurring 3 years earlier), and if the annual supernatural signs described above did not begin at the time that the Temple veil was torn (at the crucifixion). So if the crucifixion was in AD 33 as many (maybe most) biblical scholars claim, and if the above statement from the Talmud was correct, then the destruction of the Temple would have to be in AD 73 and not AD 70. In any case, this introduces considerable doubt concerning Josephus account regarding the secular dating of these events. I don’t think we can be absolutely certain about these things until we see the 2 prophets begin their testimony in Jerusalem.

So, how would the “Sign of Jonah” (https://4windsfellowships.net/articles/Chronology/jonah.pdf) mesh with an A.D. 33 Crucifixion, when Jesus’ warnings in the first half of his passion week were directed towards Jerusalem?
Also, why would Herod have ordered the slaughter of “all boys 2 years old and under” in Bethlehem unless Jesus was almost 2 (by our reckoning; 3 by ancient reckoning) at the time? If Herod died after the lunar eclipse on January 10th of 1 BC (but before the Passover following it, per Josephus) and Jesus’ birthday is Tishri 1 (Revelation 12:1-2), then this slaughter must’ve been prescribed at least a few months before Herod’s death; i.e. in the summer of 2BC. In that case, Jesus would’ve been born in 4BC. Even if Herod prescribed the slaughter in the autumn before the December 29, 1 BC lunar eclipse instead, Jesus would’ve been born in 2 BC.

The “Sign of Jonah” (40 years) IMO requires a 40-year gap between the crucifixion and complete overthrow of Jerusalem. It also agrees with the Talmud’s claim that for 40 years prior to its destruction there were supernatural signs occurring annually at the Temple. This 40-year period is also critical to the chronology in my book, since the extent of the present age (which ends at the beginning of the 70th week) requires both 2000 years from the crucifixion and 1960 years from the fall of Jerusalem (a 40-year gap) until the arrival of the two prophets of Rev. 11.
I am not convinced that the AD70 Gregorian date for the destruction of Jerusalem is correct. I take the Bible as absolutely accurate, and all ancient dates from secular sources as subject to error, a point which undergirds the entire chronology in my book. Josephus is THE primary source for historians regarding the death of Herod, the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem, and the massacre at Masada. Josephus has been proven wrong on many points by secular historians, and his history also sometimes conflicts with the Bible’s history (which we take as accurate). The primary point regarding the death of Herod is which “eclipse” Josephus was referencing that occurred shortly before a Passover. Lunar eclipses are fairly common, and just how much before Passover is also uncertain. Plus Josephus could have his “facts” completely wrong, as he was Herod’s death occurred before Josephus was born. One other point here is that what Josephus records as an “eclipse” seems to have been considered an omen. We should not automatically assume that signs in the heavens are always naturally occurring things (like eclipses), just as we cannot be sure that the “star” the wise men saw was something that can be plotted using astronomy.
RE: the slaughter of the infants, I suppose that Herod was just making very sure that he killed the baby Jesus. He was furious that the “wise men” had not brough back a report to identify the infant for him, plus he was probably unsure exactly when they saw his “star in the east” and how long it had been between their observation of that star and their arrival in Jerusalem.
As you know, many biblical and secular historians claim that Jesus was crucified in AD 33, not AD 30. But if Luke’s Gospel is correct, and Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his ministry, then His birth could not have been much earlier than the year 1 BC/AD. I don’t think we can know this with certainty, so for us the best thing we can do is wait for the first definite sign from Revelation, which is the 2 witnesses beginning their testimony. All of the stuff I wrote above about 7 years of plenty is purely speculative. I hope it is the case. We will know pretty soon.
One thing seems pretty clear is that Europe is about to undergo a radical change, and this IMHO is the beginning of the rise of the “10 kings” of Dan. 2 and Rev. 17.

Trump is THE obstacle to Ukraine being accepted into NATO, which is no doubt what is driving Zelensky’s call for a European army that is not dependent on the US either for funding or for support in war with Russia. If this happens, Ukraine would certainly be part of this revised Roman Empire.
This article is timely given my previous comments about Trump’s probable disengagement from Europe and the rise of a new Europe (revived Roman Empire) which would consist of the 10 kings of Dan. 2 and Rev. 17.

I have been reading all the comments above and they are all so fascinating.
There are a few things that I am wondering about:
(1) Will the Great Tribulation (and the Mark of the Beast) really be world-wide in its reach (reaching even to far away places such as Australia, South Africa and the US) or will it be limited mostly to the Middle East (in the sense of Luke 2:1 … the area that was formerly covered by the Roman Empire?
(2) I can see how the “Eagles Wings” of Revelation 12:14 could be interpreted as referring to the United States, but because the same term is used in Exodus 19:4 as referring to God coming to Israel’s aid could it also not have the same meaning in Revelation 12:14?
(3) Does the “wilderness” where the woman flee to (Revelation 12:14) … not refer to the literal places of Edom, Moab, Ammon instead (see Daniel 11:41) which are incidentally places that the Antichrist would not be able to reach during the Great Tribulation?

(1) I personally believe that Europe (the old Roman Empire) will be roughly the territory that the Antichrist will directly control, since the 10 kings clearly arise out of the 4th beast/kingdom of Daniel 7-8, which was unquestionably the Roman Empire. The 10 kings give their sovereignty to Antichrist, and Antichrist himself arises out of the 4th beast/kingdom also. Once he gains full power, he will try to dominate the middle east.
(2) I agree with you that the 2 wings of a great eagle was meant to point back to the exodus (Ex. 19:4), symbolizing a divinely assisted escape. Also, the old Roman Empire also had the eagle as its symbol, so IMO that the US does also is not very convincing. However, some prophecies have dual meanings, so this cannot be completely discounted.
(3) I do not think the “wilderness” in Rev. 12 refers to Dan. 11:41. Antichrist will control Europe (old Roman Empire) as his own territory. But he will try to dominate the middle east, especially Israel. IMO Dan. 11:41 deals with the limits of his domination of the middle east. There are Christians all over the world. So the flight to safety of the woman IMO deals particularly with Christians being threatened from within the reach of Antichrist’s dominion, especially Europe, but also the middle east.
(4) I do not believe the Antichrist will enforce the “mark” world-wide, but only in the areas under his sovereignty. Yet since he tries to dominate Israel, entering the Temple claiming to be God, his real focus is to dominate the middle east. Of course, economies are interrelated, so there will certainly be economic effects felt world-wide. Also, the plagues that are to be called down by the 2 prophets will certainly have some global effects. There will be ample time for the “woman” to flee, which IMO will be clear after the 2 prophets begin their testimony. This flight to safety might begin during that 1260-day period, and the “abomination of desolation” is the final warning (Matt. 24:15).
(5) I do not know the answer. But keep in mind that Jesus’ mention of “the day that Noah entered the ark” seems to correspond to the flight of the woman to safety in Rev. 12.
One more point. Revelation mentions the Euphrates river in conjunction with the “kings of the east” participating in Armageddon. So, there is clearly a far-east component that very well could include China.
FYI, if we assume that Jesus was born in 1BC, according to my astronomy program, Rosh Hashana (new moon) was on Sept. 18 (Gregorian).
Our discussion so far has assumed that the old Roman empire encompassed the same area as today’s Europe. But Rome was much larger than that (and smaller in Europe’s northern parts). It included Turkey, Middle east, and northern Africa.
If the two legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s statue represent West- and East-Rome, and since the legs have five toes each, five of the ten kings ought to come from outside Europe, even from some Muslim countries.

Yes, the Roman Empire at its height (AD 117) included Turkey, Syria, and parts of Iraq and Egypt. I am convinced that the Antichrist (little horn) will come out of today’s Syria or Turkey, the territory of the Seleucid (Antiochus IV’s) Empire that later became part of the Roman Empire. Just because the 10 kings arise from the remains of the 4th beast of Dan. 7 (Roman Empire) does not necessarily mean that the ancient boundaries of the Roman Empire will limit their territorial sovereignty. Regarding the number of toes on each foot of Nebuchadnezzar’s image, I am not sure we should press the allegory that far. The ten toes on Nebuchadnezzar’s image refers to how this empire will look in the end times, not necessarily what its Roman predecessor looked like.
Regarding the far northern nations, Norway, Sweden, Finland, I have no idea. But if these nations are tied to the rest of Europe economically (EU) and militarily (NATO or a new European military), this seems to suggest that the sovereignty of the 10 kings would extend to those nations. Rome never controlled Poland or Ukraine or the other north-eastern European countries either, but if these are absorbed into Europe for the same reasons (economically and militarily) IMO they will also come under the sovereignty of the 10, and afterwards the “little horn.” According to Revelation, the 10 kings will give their sovereignty to the Antichrist, and the primary weapon he uses to control is economic (mark of the beast). So, IMO, I would keep my eye on the European Union and the extent of its reach as a key indicator, and then on any developments regarding NATO and a possible European military and its extent. After the “abomination of desolation,” this reach will extend into Israel and attempt to dominate that region.
Keep in mind that I am speculating, but the future of Europe should become more obvious fairly quickly. It seems the US and Europe are in the early stages of a divorce driven by what seems to be a radical difference in what our supposedly shared “democratic principles” actually are. Europe is headed for a more Orwellian-Woke future and the US seems to be heading for a return to its founding principles. In any case, it seems that the meaning of “iron mixed with clay” is becoming apparent. The “iron” is authoritarian-dictatorial (top down) rule and the “clay” is democratic (bottom up) rule. Europe is increasingly pursuing this hybrid kind of governing, and it just will not mix. The “iron” will ultimately win over the “clay.” We were headed down the same path in the US, but IMO God Himself intervened.

Russian astronomers predicted the serious likelihood of a strike by Apophis in April 2036, but NASA ruled it out. Apophis will only become visible again for a time during 2027 so that NASA can recalculate its trajectory and refine its predictions for both 2029 and 2036. Some astronomers are concerned that earth’s gravity will alter its orbit very slightly in the 2029 extremely close fly-by which could result in a collision in 2036. Can we be confident in dates that preceded the birth and resurrection of Christ, as well as the destruction of Jerusalem.
Here is why I ask….
If we know when the the 430 years ended that is spoken of in Ezekiel 4, which was followed by the 70 year Babylonian exile, to complete a jubilee cycle, then we could trust the biblical data to calculate whether or not the crucifixion was 30 or 33AD. That would correlate to 3993AM, just 7 years (one week) shy of the 8oth jubilee. We could know from the start of the 70 weeks of Daniel, whether or not the 69 weeks ended in 30 AD vs 33AD.
Is there anything in that 500 year period, that led us to the 70th jubilee (3500AM), that causes you pause from a biblical standpoint? That was the start of Daniel’s 70th week, so if there isn’t any cause for pause, then the 30 AD and 70 AD dates would be correct.
I know we are sharing opinions, so these are just some of my thoughts.
I have actually used that 14 years. That involved Joseph, where 7are plentiful followed by 7 of famine totaled the last two sabbatical cycles.
With another election being in 2028 and another in 2032 in the US, it’s interesting that either way things go, political changes US will occur that could be perfect timing to carry out prophetic climates. I could see the results of the 2028 and 2032 elections align with current timelines.

I am not sure I understand your question. We are dealing with two very different calendar systems, the one my books deals with tries to reconstruct the biblical data on the biblical calendar of Sabbatical and Jubilee years. It does not attempt to reconcile the secular dates for the same events, and in fact is at odds with many of them. For example, the length of time that Jerusalem lay “desolate” is 70 years according to the Bible (2 Chron. 36:21; Jer. 25:11-12; Jer. 34:22). This is disputed by secular historians and reduced to less than 50 years. The secular date for Nebuchadnezzar’s destruction of Jerusalem is 586BC and the secular date for Cyrus’ decree to restore the city is 539BC, a difference of only 47 years. So, either the Bible is wrong (esp. 2 Chron. 36:16-21, cf. Lev. 25) or secular historians are wrong. We cannot use the secular dates for Nebuchadnezzar’s destruction of Jerusalem or even the secular date for Cyrus’ decree to restore Jerusalem to calculate Jesus’ birth or crucifixion simply because the secular dating system has many errors.
IMO, the only way to avoid unintentional merging secular dating errors into our chronology is to construct a chronology exclusively from the Bible data alone, completely ignoring the secular dating. In the past, Christian chronologists like Ussher believed there was a gap in the biblical data, so that the time when the 70 weeks begin was not possible to determine WITHOUT filling the gap using secular dates. Ussher tried to connect the “decree” which begins the 70-weeks to Artaxerxes rather than to Cyrus. He did this BECUASE the biblical data did not match up with the accepted secular dating system, and his goal was to make them agree and in doing so demonstrate that the Bible is true. But he had this backwards. The Bible is TRUE regardless of whether secular historians agree with it. Later Christian chronologists, such as Martin Anstey and Phillip Mauro, rejected that idea and proved that there is no gap in the biblical chronology for the Persian period, that the 70 weeks begins with Cyrus’ decree and not Artaxerxes. My book follows this principle in rejecting the secular chronology. I am convinced that Sabbath, Jubilee chronology is correct in the major dates.
The only way to know where we are on OUR calendar is to link the two calendars together at a reliable point, and the crucifixion is the best place to do so. But, again, whether that was AD 30 or AD 33 we cannot determine from the Bible but are entirely dependent on secular chronologists. There is no way to solve this IF we stick with the basic premise of the book, that the Bible alone is reliable in its chronological data, and all of the secular dates are uncertain. The Bible does not give chronological data after the Apostolic period EXCEPT the 2000 years from the crucifixion to the beginning of the 70th week (the 2-days of Hosea 6:2) and the overthrow of Jerusalem and the priesthood until the beginning of the 70th week (1960 years of Deut. 25). But since the 70th week has not yet happened, we cannot as yet link that to our calendar. Also, there has not been a continuous calendar system in use from the time of Christ to today, as our modern AD system only began in AD 525. “Time will tell” is the only certain way to link the AM biblical calendar with our AD Gregorian calendar. As things develop in the next few years, especially when the 2 witnesses arrive, we will have an absolutely concrete link.

In Tertullian’s “An Answer to the Jews” (ch. 8), he gives the year of Jesus’ birth in relation to the reign of Caesar Augustus, who reigned 41 years. Augustus’ reign is dated by historians from Jan. 27BC to Aug. AD14. Tertullian claimed that Augustus reigned 41 years, which agrees with modern secular history. Tertullian then claimed that Christ was born in Augustus’ 28th year, and that Augustus died in the 15th year from Christ’s birth. This places Jesus’ birth in 1BC, right where Dionysius Exiguus placed it when establishing the BC/AD system in AD 525.
The earlier dates for Jesus’ birth are based solely on the claim that Herod died before this and thus could not have ordered the massacre of the infants if the 1BC date is correct. But again, the death of Herod is only pushed back before 1BC depending on which eclipse Josephus had in mind when he linked an eclipse to Herrods death. There was an eclipse in 1BC which fits. The more I look into this, the more I am inclined to agree that Jesus’ birth was on Rosh Hashana, Sept. 18, 1BC. Since Jesus was baptized and began His ministry at the beginning of His 30th year (AD 29) according to Luke, and we know from John’s account that 3 Passovers occurred during Jesus’ ministry, His crucifixion would have to be in AD 33. (That year also lines up with a Friday crucifixion). If we date the “desolations” of Jerusalem from the end of the first Jewish-Roman war (AD 73), as per. Dan. 9:26, rather than the sacking of Jerusalem (AD 70), everything in the Sabbatical/Jubilee/Feast chronology seems to line up nicely. And this would then correspond to the fall of 2025 being 14 years before the 6000th year from creation (AD 2039-40).

Tim, as I understand it, you consider the most probable scenario that Jesus was crucified in 33 AD and that the ”desolation” of Dan 9:26 starts at Masada in 73 AD.
One thing that IMO does not completely fit into this scenario is the sign of Jona in Jon 3:4: ”Forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown”. Here Nineveh is a prophetic parallel to Jerusalem, which ought to mean that there is 40 years from the crucifixion until the destruction of Jerusalem, not until Masada.

That is a really good point. I would first wonder what the “overthrow” of Nineveh that was threatened would actually involve, whether Jonah’s statement was a reference to a total destruction of the physical city (like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah), or whether it refers to the overthrow of its authority and sovereignty which extended throughout the empire. As you know, Nineveh was the capitol of the Assyrian Empire, so the statement could refer to the collapse of the sovereignty of the Assyrian Empire rather than total destruction of the capitol city itself. I noticed that the Hebrew word in Jonah 3:4 translated “overthrown” is נֶהְפָּכֶת which means “to turn.” The LXX renders this as “overthrown,” but again that is an interpretation not the literal required sense of the Hebrew. Since the threat to Nineveh was not actually carried out, we don’t have the historical precedent with which to compare to what happened to Jerusalem, Israel, and the priesthood. I would say that Israel was not defeated or the sovereignty of Jerusalem completely “overthrown” until the end of the war in AD 73.
Also, Jesus’ prediction included the complete dismantling of the entire city, not only the Temple.
Luke 17:41-44 (NASB) 41 And when He approached, He saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! While Titus’ army breached the city and burned the Temple allegedly in August AD 70, the whole city was certainly not completely dismantled by hand in just a few months. Jesus’ prediction of the overthrow of Jerusalem (the sign of Jonah) had to extend beyond AD 70 if not only for practical reasons. The Romans dismantled the entire city in order to keep the Jews from ever returning and making it their capitol again. Josephus reported that the 10th Legion remained in Jerusalem after Titus left for Rome.
Everyone, please keep in mind that I am not necessarily claiming that Jesus’ crucifixion was in AD 33 rather than AD 30. I am only suggesting that we should be open to this possibility, as it aligns nicely with the theory I proposed in the above article, that the USA might be the place prepared for the woman to flee, and if so that lines up with the possibility that Trump’s election will bring the beginning of 7 years of prosperity prior to the 70th week, as a possible parallel to Pharaoh’s dream and its fulfillment.

There has been world wide government stimulus packages injecting enormous amounts of liquidity into their respective economies, the US alone has pumped many trillions of dollars into the economy, which has until now averted a financial crisis. It seems difficult to understand how things could improve beyond this when the underlying fundamentals are not good in my understanding of things.
If history is a guide, a financial crisis seems more likely in the near term rather than prosperity.

First, I want to be very clear to distinguish between three things:
1. What I believe the Bible teaches regarding the “Millennial Week”
2. The chronology which I have reconstructed in TOTE
3. The interpretation of current events
IMO, the “Millennial Week” (Chiliasm, 6k years from creation to Christ’s Kingdom) is absolutely certain from the text of the Bible itself, then confirmed by the earliest Christian writers who were familiar with apostolic oral tradition. IMO, viewing these things objectively meets the threshold to call them a certainty.
The AM chronology from the biblical data in TOTE is of course subject to error, yet IMO the “coincidence” that the Bible also provides the chronological data to calculate the 6k years until the Kingdom, PLUS the aligning of very significant events to certain Jubilee years, also gives the overall chronology its credibility. This is due to patterns that appear supernatural. So, again, IMO these things when viewed objectively lead to a very high degree of probability and confidence for me.
However, the interpretations of certain events in Revelation, and my attempts to link these with current trends and events, are entirely subjective opinions. They should be only viewed as distinct possibilities (maybe probabilities), with further confirmation needed as events unfold.
The Venus-Regulus conjunction is not that unusual. It has occurred before in history. The 2036 conjunction is only noteworthy because it happens to coincide with Yom Kippur. (As yet, I have not looked into possible astronomical “coincidences” using the later date of Yom Kippur 2039). For me, things that are repeated many times in astronomy (such as eclipses and conjunctions) are not as weighty as what is described in Rev. 9. Here we have a “star” falling from heaven at the mid-point of the 70th week (1st of 3 “woes,” when the AoD occurs) unleashing a plague associated with the name “The Destroyer,” and there is an asteroid by that very name which will come extremely close to earth (possibly impact) on Passover 2036. Keep in mind that the Abomination of Desolation will occur on or very near a Passover (midst of the 70th week). IMO, the AoD will not only defile the Temple, but its greatest celebration – Passover, celebrating the exodus, and triggering the “exodus” of the “Woman” to safety. So for me, the odds of this “coincidence” are many times greater than the Venus-Regulus conjunction on Yom Kippur 2036 and therefore has far greater weight. Also, please keep in mind that according to Jesus in Matt. 24 there will be “signs” (plural) in the heavens during the “Great Tribulation.” Such a conjunction of Venus (Christ) and Regulus (King) on Yom Kippur shortly after the AoD could still be a very significant sign warning of Christ’s impending coming on Yom Kippur without actually occurring on the day of His coming. On that Day of the Lord, a much greater sign will occur in the sun and moon.
Regarding the possible connection to the radical changes in the US and the interpretation of Rev. 12, it seems that wherever this place of refuge is located, it must be capable of absorbing an enormous number of refugees in an extremely short period of time and be able to support them for 3.5 years. If the “woman” who flees to the “wilderness” is indeed “the Church” fleeing out from Antichrist’s entire dominion (Europe, Turkey, Syria, and Israel), the massive scale of such an evacuation would require certain things: (1) transportation provided by some means other than the personal finances of those fleeing; (2) a food supply and living accommodations for the refugees which are not dependent on their own financial situation; (3) the willingness of the government of that place to absorb such a vast number of refugees, provide for transportation, and house them and provide for them for 3.5 years out of the reach of Antichrist, possibly having the military capacity to withstand Antichrist’s military capacity as a deterrent. (I am not discounting supernatural assistance when Rev. 12 says that the earth opened up and swallowed up the flood-army of Antichrist).
I also know that the Kingdom of Darkness is very aware of what is occurring in the Kingdom of Light and what is about to occur and is attempting to counter it. I also know Satan’s MO as a counterfeiter as Paul says, “For we are not ignorant of his schemes” (2 Cor. 2:11). Consequently, paying attention to what seems to be occurring in the Kingdom of Darkness is as important as attempting to discern what is occurring in the Kingdom of Light. So, I ask myself this: Why has the previous US administration done everything possible to destroy the fabric of this nation? Weaponizing government institutions, pushing radical gender ideologies which destroy the foundation of God’s original order – the nuclear family, and opening the borders to a flood of illegal aliens (especially criminals and terrorists), and then providing taxpayer funds to give sanctuary to them, while driving up the deficit to a level that could potentially collapse the entire economy? Is it possible that “sanctuary cities” are the flip side of possible “sanctuary cities” in God’s plan for His elect? If I was Satan, and I knew that God was going to give “sanctuary” to His own refugees in the US using its prosperity, I would do virtually EVERYTHING that the last administration did. I would also seek to destroy any potential president or political leaders that could potentially be used to bring about such a plan. I look for patterns, and I try my best to see trends, and to compare these with biblical prophecy, and I also try to put myself in Satan’s shoes to see what I would logically do to counter God’s Plan knowing Satan’s MO. I also constantly try to reevaluate past conclusions regarding interpretations of the things in Revelation, comparing current events both in the world and in the sky. I use this blog to keep people who follow this ministry updated to new possibilities that I am considering. I hope this helps.
I would also like to know who will prosper. I know Elon and DOGE are trying to cut govenment cost/waste. Do we really truly BELIEVE that billionaires and millionaires have the best interest of working class families in mind & heart when making decisions. Do we TRUST that their decisions are in our (working class) best interest going forward and not theirs?

People like Trump and Musk are extremely wealthy because they have started and have run extremely profitable businesses. They know economics, and how to be successful. Both men have provided many thousands of jobs for the working class. This knowledge and experience is very useful on a national scale. Do we want people running the country who have never worked in the private sector, but have always depended on taxpayers to support them? They cannot relate to the “working class.” Musk did not inherit wealth. He went from an average guy to a billionaire by creating companies that were very innovative and prosperous both for himself and for his many thousands of employees. God uses all kinds of people for His purposes.

God uses people as chess pieces in a chess game between the Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light. He moves the pieces He chooses for His purposes and outsmarts Satan. God used Pharaoh, a wicked and powerful king, in order to bring about His plan for Israel and to make a name for Himself among the nations. He used the pagan and arrogant king Nebuchadnezzar to judge His people Israel, and to bring about His plan. He then used Cyrus, the pagan king of Persia, to bring about the return of Israel from exile and to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple.
That Trump is an ego-maniac, and Elon Musk is an atheist, are completely irrelevant to whether God can move them as chess pieces on the chess-board of history. One thing is for sure, which was Nebuchadnezzar’s final realization. Read Daniel chapter 4, and then just watch God work and enjoy the ride! There is nothing to worry about. If we belong to God, and if we seek His Kingdom and His righteousness as our first priority, there is nothing to fear (Matt. 6:25-34).
God can use Trump’s ego and his “messiah complex” to set this nation up if that is His purpose. God can use Musk’s atheism, and his resources and misplaced devotion to saving humanity, to set the stage for saving His own elect. God is awesome!

The conjunction of Venus and Regulus that Peter mentioned is what I was referring to in my previous comment. I DO understand that this conjunction is not extraordinarily rare, and I agree it could be one of the “signs in the heavens”. I’m going to try to run my astronomy program forward to Yom Kippur 2039 and see what happens.
Between the current events in the world and what is almost certainly the impending close of the sixth millennium is extremely exciting, and the Mazzaroth, IMO should have something to offer regarding Christs return to earth (esp. the sign of the son of man appearing in heaven).
I agree with you that the kingdom of darkness would try to thwart what God is preparing for the “woman”. However if the U.S. is that “wilderness“, there are/will be those who are part of that dark kingdom still living here when the time for her flight arrives. It seems to me that their presence in the U.S. is a problem, at least as far as the safety of believers goes. Christians are being blamed (worldwide) for Trumps reelection and the ensuing “swamp drain”. The hatred is seething and getting worse here. I certainly trust God in all of this, but I’m curious how you view their presence here during that time, and what the “sign of the son of man appearing in heaven” is.

Yes, the “dark side” is still very active in the US and will continue to be so until the end. But look at the radical changes that have occurred in the US in just the last few years? Look at the collapse of the mainstream news media which has supported the radical agenda of the left? I expect that a lot more is going to occur both in the US and Europe in the next few years. This is not a very rare occurrence, but what makes it interesting is that it occurs during the Days of Awe.

Since I can remember studying prophecy, the one question no student could explain is “where is the USA in end times prophecy”. I think your hypothesis is valid. And if Canada and Greenland end up as US territories, the entire north american continent will be the Eagle. Plenty of mountains for those in Judea to flee when the abomination is set up in the temple.

I haven’t seen much “humbling” or repentance yet, but there probably was a lot of “praying” during the last administration. 🙂 While that prophecy was given to Israel in its original context, God’s people who are called by His name also refers to Christians. So it seems that the underlying principle is valid, especially if the particular “land” (nation) was originally founded on Biblical principles.
Trump said He believes God caused that bullit to only hit his ear. And that is the reason he became strenghtened. That God has a plan for him to save America. That’s as humble as David and Solomon. He is on a mission to bring peace to the world. And he is no antichrist. His first Cabinet meeting began with a prayer by a reverend. I agree that God spared Trump because he is part of God’s plan for the US in the end times. What I do not know yet is whether the plan is to use Trump as a modern “Pharaoh” (to demonstrate God’s power) or a modern “Nebuchadnezzar” (for judgment of God’s people). Or God may intend to use Trump like a modern “Cyrus” (to give relief to God’s people). It could be a combination of any of these.
I do not see any trace of humility in Trump. Just the opposite. The botched assassination attempt is feeding Trump’s ego and “messiah complex.” I see in Trump an ego similar to Pharaoh’s and Nebuchadnezzar’s. Have you seen the AI generated video of Trump’s plan for Gaza that he reposted online? Not much humility there. It’s more like Nebuchadnezzar’s ego on steroids (Dan. 4:29-30). Trump enjoys and craves worship, especially from Christians to whom he caters.
Of course, God can use even “the wrath of man” to praise Him (Ps. 76:10). He can and does use human super-sized egos to serve His larger plan. God raised up Pharaoh for His purpose, He raised up Nebuchadnezzar, and He raised up Cyrus.
I have two comments on the woman who flees:
1. The woman flees ”into the wilderness” (Rev 12:6). If this is the US, it cannot be the whole US. It must be the desert states like AZ, NM, NV, UT, TX and some others. It seems there is plenty of room there without including Canada and/or Greenland.
2. It is still possible that ”the woman” only includes the 144k Jews, and the ”rest of her offspring” (Rev 12:17) is Gentile Christians. Even if times will be tough in Europe under Antichrist, it will probably be even tougher for the Jews. Therefore it may be in God’s plan to lift away only the faithful Jews. In such case, ”the volume problem” is solved.

IMO, it is a mistake to read Revelation from a modern world-view. Revelation was written to seven churches that existed in the first century and were part of the Roman Empire. We need to read revelation from a first-century perspective. For example, Revelation identifies “Mystery Babylon” as “that great city that is reigning (present tense) over the kings of the earth.” We know this is Rome because when Revelation was written, Rome ruled the known world. This is not true today, nor will it be true in the end times. Similarly, the “wilderness” in Rev. 12 should be read from the same perspective. From a Roman-Empire-centric and first-century world view, the “wilderness” was some undeveloped place, unknown to John’s audience (the 7 churches of Asia Minor). “Wilderness” does not mean “desert.” The Greek word ἔρημος refers to an uninhabited or undeveloped place. That could be desert, wooded, or mountainous area, or even an undiscovered location or country depending on context. America absolutely would fit that idea in the first century when Revelation was written. But so also would many other places. Also, “the Bride, the Lamb’s wife” in Rev. 19 IS the “Woman” who 3.5 years earlier fled to the wilderness.
IMO, the “woman” does not include the 144,000 Jews. The Apostle John took up Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles after Paul’s martyrdom. John’s works were meant to augment Paul’s letters. They depend upon and add support to Paul’s theology. It is clear to me that Rev. 12 is expanding upon Rom. 11 and Gal. 3-4, especially Paul’s allegory of Sarah and Hagar in Gal. 4:21-31. Rev. 12 MUST be read through this Pauline theological lens, IMO. Baptized Christians are “Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.” We are “the offspring of the Free Woman” (Sarah) while unbelieving Jews (the 144k) are “children of the bond woman” (Hagar) according to Paul. IMO, Rev. 12 does not deal with the 144k at all. God’s interaction with them while still under the Law is described in Mal. 4, Rev. 7 & 11, and is an entirely separate thing. Rev. 12 is about the Christian church exclusively, IMO.
Also, if “the woman” is only the Jews, it rhymes well with the possibility the “the bride” also are only Jews. If so, Gentiles are “guests” at the marrige supper of the Lamb: “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 14:15, NIV)
I usually do not like to comment much on current events, but Bible prophecy is coming alive right now before our eyes. I just watched Trump’s and Vance’s very heated live exchange with Zelinski in the oval office. Trump was unnecessarily rude, IMO. It also seems pretty clear that because of Trump’s determination to stop the bleeding of billions of US dollars to keep Ukraine’s war ongoing indefinitely, Putin clearly has the upper hand in negotiating a possible end of the war. Trump is right that Zelinski is in an extremely poor negotiating position and ought to take whatever deal he can get with Russia to end the war. I am of course speculating based on how I understand Daniel and Revelation. But the TIMING of these things, and the events themselves, point to the rise of the “Ten Toes” of iron and clay which are the precursor to the rise of Antichrist.
Trump and Vance really laid into Zelinski. I don’t get why he want make a deal for peace and to end the war. I also don’t get why should Zelinski take a knee to end a war he did not start (from my understanding). I reckon NO ONE can make Putin take a knee so go after the ‘little’ guy. It shows me that Powerful (money, political, social, peronality, etc) people will almost always come out on top. So what is the use of people protesting. It is a waste of energy and time. IMO, Zelenski is in a very weak negotiating position. As Trump said, he has no “cards” to play. He cannot defeat Russia. Putin is in a very strong position simply BECAUSE Trump is determined to stop the US from funding a war that absolutely cannot be won. The EU and Ukraine want the US to continue to pour billions of dollars into keeping this war going indefinitely. This benefits the EU by continuing to deplete Russia’s military and economy which makes the EU much more secure at the expense of Ukranian blood and the US economy (which the EU competes with). Zelenski doesn’t want to take any loss of territory or be seen as losing the war to Putin even at the cost of many more (thousands) of lives of Ukrainians. Personally, I think Zelenski likes being seen as a “David” in a modern “David vs. Goliath” scenario. But the difference is that David had God backing him up. Zelenski had the corrupt Biden administration backing him up (possibly through blackmail of the corrupt Biden family). Trump is giving Zelenski an opportunity to stop the bleeding, to end the war and get the best possible outcome for the Ukrainians under the current circumstances. But I think Zelenski is listening to the Europeans who keep cheering him on and propping up his ego as some sort of hero in order to keep the war ongoing for their own benefit while the US continues to borrow money to pay for it. The huge accumulating national debt is what drives inflation. And it passes the bill on to future taxpayers to the destruction of our own economy. We are living in remarkable times and things are happening very fast. WW3 is definitely coming, as the 4 Horsemen in Rev. 6 show.
BTW, there is no use in protesting. That just makes people think they are fighting for some imagined just cause, and that someone is actually listening. What is happening now, in the US, Europe, and Israel, is entirely out of the hands of voters. God is moving the pieces on the board, and the momentum is so great now that what is coming cannot be stopped because it has been predetermined by God and written in His Word. It is so certain that God even revealed it to Nebuchadnezzar in his dream of the great image 2500 years ago!
What is definitely useful and even necessary for God’s people, whether in the US, Europe, or Israel, is taking seriously what Jesus said in Luke 21:36. The “Bride” must “make herself ready“ (Rev. 19:7).

Our Justice system is in part modeled after the legal system and morality of the Law of Moses. Yet, it is not exactly like it because the founders understood that Israel was a nation of people of one blood and one language, with a common root (Abraham) and a common God. The US founding principles tried to take the “justice” of the Law of Moses given by God and reinterpret it within a nation of many different nationalities, immigrants, and more than one religion. The primary ideal of the first founding document (the Declaration of Independence) was this: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This was in declaring independence from Great Britian which was ruled by a king, and where religion was dictated by the official Church of England, and various Christian sects were persecuted. “Freedom” (under divine principles) was the goal, and the ability of the people to vote for their leaders. Of course, the goal of personal freedom of conscience and worship, and the principle that every human has rights given by God and not the king, and that “all men are created equal” was great on paper. But it took the Civil War to even begin to implement these ideals, as slavery of Africans was imported by Britian and had become a huge part of the economy in America long before the Revolutionary War of independence. The “ideals” enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and later in the Constitution were IMO the very best possible form of government under the circumstances, even though they have been slow in being implemented and even now are not carried out consistently. There have always been people in business and government who have exploited the common people for their own wealth and power. Until Jesus returns, we have to deal with that reality which has gotten very bad indeed.
A return to the Law of Moses would mean stoning people to death for adultery, homosexuality, and even breaking the Sabbath. That simply cannot work in a multi-cultural and pluralistic nation where freedom of choice is very important. It would be the opposite of “freedom” and take us right back to the oppression from corrupt religion that caused the first pilgrims to flee England and Europe.
President John Adams wisely said: “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” In other words our form of government, where the people have a large say in their government and laws, can only achieve and maintain the founding principles as long as the majority of people govern their own behavior according to conscience and morality consistent with God’s revealed will. When the balance is tipped the other way, and people are non-religious, immoral, greedy, etc., they will use their “liberty” selfishly, oppress their countrymen, and the nation will eventually descend into anarchy, and will then again have to be ruled with an iron fist (no liberty).

You mention above a third world war. But how do you fit that into the end time scenario of the Bible?
As I understand it, the world scene will be dominated by the ten “kings”, and even if three of them will in some way be opposed by Antichrist (Dan 7:8,20), they will join forces with one another and with Antichrist against Israel. The war that is described in the Bible is IMO “all against one” which I would not call a “world war”.
Granted, the sixth trumpet in Rev 9 talks about 200M “horsemen”, but from their description they may very well be demonic forces. And the purpose of the “kings from the east” of the sixth bowl in Rev 16, seem to be “to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty” (Rev 16:14), which ought to be the end battle where all are attacking Israel.
Many Christians talk about a third world war as clear from the Bible prophecies, but I cannot see it. Pls, set me on the right track if I am wrong.

Perhaps we should not call it a “world war,” yet even WW1 and WW2 were not really “world wars.” I was referring to the 4 horsemen (first 4 seals – Rev. 6:1-8), which describe the destruction of war on a massive scale, famine, etc. The 4 horsemen have destructive power over a fourth part of the land. That alone is devastation beyond WW2, IMO, and what I would be concerned about if I lived in Europe. All of this occurs BEFORE Antichrist is revealed. Armageddon will focus on the armies gathered against Israel. But the 4 Horsemen occur even before the AoD.
We also know from Daniel 7:7-8 that when the 10 horns/kings arise out of Europe/Turkey (remains of the Roman Empire), that 3 of the 10 will be “uprooted.” That means war. Also, Rome will be destroyed by the 10 kings according to Rev. 17, probably because of the Vatican’s opposition to what the 10 kings are doing, especially when they align with and give their sovereignty to Antichrist (Rev. 17:12-14). Europe is going to be the center of a great deal of the fulfillment of Revelation, IMO, extending from there to the middle east. The “legs of iron” in Dan. 2 and the “4th beast” in Dan. 7 are clearly the Roman Empire. The “feet and toes” of Dan. 2 come from the “4th beast,” as does the “little horn” (Antichrist). IMO, there is absolutely no question that the “ten kings” of Rev. 17 involves the territory of today’s Europe. To what boundaries exactly, I cannot say.
Is it a coincidence that several things are converging right now? … the war in Israel, the war in Ukraine, and Trump’s forcing Europe to reorganize?
The 10 kings arise before Antichrist who comes up after them. Since Antichrist’s advent is at the mid-point of the 70th week, all of the above will occur before Antichrist kills the two witnesses and commits the AoD. It could be that the 10 kings do not come to power until the first half of the week, but I wouldn’t count on that. It could happen earlier.
I know of no reason to claim definitively that the 4 horsemen must be confined to the first half of the 70th week. The two witnesses occupy that time period since the length of their prophesying is limited to 1260 days. But I see no clear time limitation for the 4 horsemen (Seals 1-4). The 5th seal seems to refer to those killed by Antichrist after the AoD. Consequently, the first 4 seals (4 horsemen) come before the AoD, but I cannot say when they begin in relation to the other events. We will soon see.

These events refer to the first 4 Seals and first 4 Trumpets, right? Which we know is limited to the 1260 days of their ministry.

IMO, the two witnesses will call down supernatural plagues which IMO involve the first 4 Trumpets. But what I see in the 4 Horsemen appear to be man-caused, especially massive war and its results such as famine, pestilence, and displaced animals attacking humans. The 4 horsemen seem to intentionally parallel what Jesus called “the beginning of birth-pains” which occur before the “Abomination of Desolation” in Matt. 24, wars, famines, pestilences, etc. This might be confined to the 1260 days, but I do not see any way to be sure from the prophecies.
One possible implication as to when the first 4 seals (horsemen) begin could be the connection between the scene in Dan. 7:9-10 (the Court of the Ancient of Days being seated) and what John saw in Rev. 4-5, which IMO is the same event. Since the 4 horsemen are the first 4 seals, and those seals are not opened until the “court” is seated on thrones and then the Lamb begins to open the seals, this could imply the beginning of the 70th week, since that “week” was “determined” by God in advance as indicated in Dan. 9:24-27.

The current mindset of American politics has changed drastically. The Trump administration is exactly the opposite of what American involvement has ever been. The deep state is being systematically dismantled by his cabinet and DOGE. The U.S. stance with the EU and Europe in total is no more feeding the military industrial complex and the elite globalist. The Trump administration is telling Europe that they are heading down a path that puts them in existential conflict with the national security interest of the U.S. and that they believe if this war continues in Ukraine, will result in a nuclear exchange between the U.S. and Russia which threatens all life on the planet. All the EU partners are in disarray on how to deal with this new policy that the U.S. is implementing. J.D. Vance speech in Munich was a gut punch to the mindset in Europe. The organizers response to his speech was to get up on stage in front of the leaders of the EU and cry, in which they hugged it out with applause. Britain, France and Germany are finding themselves in complete opposition to the new U.S. policy. IMO if they keep pushing the war effort, I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump started putting sanctions on them.
From a biblical standpoint, you said it a long time ago Tim. I think you said something like, as time goes on many of the EU countries are going to reject their current governments and want their own “Trump”. Definitely can see how the revived Roman empire can begin. Especially since they are talking about a EU military force. I don’t think will happen because none of them will agree on who will lead it. They’ve always had the U.S. to do that. Very exciting times we live in. I have no fear.

Europe and the “woke” globalists are getting a rude wake-up call. This could go one of two ways in the short term. If there is a deal to end or pause the war, Europe will have to make some massive changes in their governance and militaries in order to have an effective deterrence against Russia without the help of the US. If so, Russia will use this pause to rebuild their military, maybe with China’s help. This new “cold war” would then bring about the rise of the 10 kings. The other possible outcome I think is that Europe actually enters the war against Russia now while Russia is weak and its military depleted. Again, on a war footing Europe will need powerful leaders, and will have to clamp down more and more on voters, especially those who desire their nations to follow what the US is doing. “Free speech” and other freedoms are definitely going to increasingly be under attack in Europe. That will ultimately lead to the “mark of the beast.”
I think Trump has made it very clear that the US is not going to fund this war anymore, period. Zelenski is going to do whatever the Europeans tell him to do. Whatever Zelenski does in the coming days and weeks will reveal the true plans of the “woke” globalists of Europe who are really running the show and have been bleeding America dry.
One more point worth considering. Why is it that Europe has intentionally been importing so many foreigners against the will of their own populations? In the same way the Biden administration intentionally opened the US borders? It is to intentionally import chaos and to disrupt the democratic process and the will of the citizens. Why? Because chaos facilitates globalist tyrants grabbing power and stealing wealth under the pretense of solving the very problems they create.

You might be right, but I can find at least three circumstantial evidences that there is:
• The four horsemen in Rev 6 are the same as the first four seals, and opening of these seals must come AFTER the sealed scroll is presented to the Lamb (Rev 5) at the Throne Room of Heaven (Rev 4-5). So if the horsemen come before the tribulation, so does the Throne Room, which I find unlikely.
• Also, the four horsemen are the same as the four winds in Rev 7 (as indicated by Zech 6:1-5). And these four winds are not to be released until the 144k have gotten their seal on their foreheads (Rev 7:3). So the sealing of the 144k must come BEFORE the four winds/horsemen/seals, and if these come before the tribulation, so must the sealing. Again, I find this unlikely.
• IMO, the four horsemen carry the judgements described by Jesus in Matt 24:6-7. And Jesus calls them ”the beginning of sorrows” (v.8) which I believe is the first half of the tribulation.

When I said “compelling reasons” I meant things that would absolutely require that order of events without any speculation on our part. I agree that your three points could indeed be correct. But again, they are all inferences based on certain assumptions, not absolutes.
Both Daniel and Revelation have certain sequential parts yet also contain sections that recapitulate. The only things that I can say with absolute certainty that are sequential in Revelation are the sets of 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 bowls, that is the internal sequence of each of the 7 sets. How these 3 sets of 7 overlap, or whether and how they fit within the 70th week, is to some degree a matter of inference and speculation. Also, the two time periods given in Revelation, the 1260 days and the 42 months, obviously complete the 70th “week,” and are fixed time-periods, but again, we are speculating to some degree when we attempt to link these to the three sets of 7 judgments. I think we need to hold these opinions and inferences somewhat loosely as events progress, otherwise we could easily misinterpret the events and/or where we currently are in relation to them.
IMO, there can be no question that the “throne room” scene in Rev. 4-5 which leads into the releasing of the seals is meant to be parallel to seating of the Court of the Ancient of Days in Daniel 7:8-11, 19-26. Yet, if we take that passage sequentially, it appears that the “throne room” (seating of the heavenly courtroom) takes place AFTER the “little horn” persecutes the “saints,” which would then place it in the last half of the 70th week! Again, IMO this illustrates that these visions are somewhat complex in their presentations to both Daniel and John, like a movie that switches between scenes, and even contains flashbacks.
We do not know for sure when the 144k are sealed, although this seems to be linked to the 2 witnesses.
In the Olivet Discourse, we cannot say for sure when the “beginning of birth pains” begins, as there seems to be some overlap even in the Apostles’ day since wars, famines, earthquakes, etc. have occurred all down through history, and Jesus said “the end is not yet.” In fact, “the beginning of birth pains” statement seems to point to a gradual increasing of the things mentioned that started long ago and were not to be taken as a “sign” that the end was near. Rather, the “Abomination of Desolation” was the sign which marked a specific number of days until Christ’s return as per Dan. 12. The beginning of birth pains is not clearly defined. I know we like neat packages, where we can link all of these things to the 70th week, but I also think we need to be open to the idea that the typical interpretation of the 70th week could contain some errors in how we overlap the major events.

This thread is devoted to the possibility of a parallel between Joseph’s being God’s tool for bringing about 7-years of plenty (prior to the 7-years of famine) and Trump possibly being used as a modern “Joseph” to spare God’s people, and at the same time bringing about the formation of the 10 Kings of Europe (10 toes of Dan. 2; Dan. 7; Rev. 17).
In preparing for my Bereans Bible Class, I was going over Jacob’s “blessings” (Gen. 49) of each of his sons. Jacob’s prophecy concerning Joseph is extremely interesting in light of the above and our discussion of the 1st Horsemen of the Apocalypse who carries a “bow.”

His analysis of what is going on with the Trump administration, Europe, and Russia may be spot on based on his intelligence background. But what he is missing IMO is what is motivating Pres. Trump which is not merely ego and making America great economically and militarily. Trump truly believes he is on a mission from God, that he is the TOOL of God. The failed assassination attempts have cemented this idea in his head. IMO, this is a powerful motivation for his views on Israel. Unfortunately, some of his “spiritual advisers” including Robert Jeffress are very strong dispensationalists (pre-trib-Zionists) who believe that Israel has a divine right to the Promised Land regardless of their disregard for both the Mosaic Covenant and their utter rejection of the Abrahamic Covenant (which requires acceptance of Christ, Abraham’s Seed – Gal. 3:16). These dispensationalist-Zionists promote absolute support for the state of Israel, (which brings about much death and destruction), but think that they are going to be “raptured” to heaven before any of the consequences reach them. Trump is of the opinion that human effort and military force will succeed in bringing about Netanyahu’s vision of Israel’s restored “Kingdom” where peace and prosperity will reign for Israel (and the US), and Trump is salivating at the prospect of getting the credit. He thinks he is “God’s TOOL” but does not realize that he is just “a tool.”

I definitely agree with your view on Ritter’s take and also on Trump being a tool. I have heard Ritter express his view of Israel many times. I do think he’s right somewhat about the hypocrisy of Trump’s Israeli policy. Ritter has a lot of angst against Netanyahu. On that point, I do think that Trump has bought in 100% that Israel has a “divine right” to commit the atrocities they doing. I heard a joke once that said God gave them the law eye for an eye, because if he didn’t they would take a head for an eye. It was a joke but seems it’s not far from reality. IMO this is more from the Falwell doctrine. I am staring think that once Europe no longer has Russia as their focus as an enemy they more than likely will then focus on Israel because of this. And I believe the US will be right square in the middle of it due to Trump’s policy towards Israel. Which will only make things much worse in the long run for them and us. Seems to add up coupled with what we know will happen in the last days as Israeli Jews and Christians become the sole focus for destruction by the AC. The rider on the white horse going forth to conquer and conquering may be a symbol for “peace through strength”, but we know that disease, death and the grave follow.

The core agenda of the “Left” is really about destroying the underlying fabric of our nation which is based on biblical principles. The Left wants to control the whole world with a one-world government where the few billionaire elites control everything. In order to eventually achieve this, they must destroy “nationalism,” especially a nationalism that is based on biblical principles. The Left manifests itself in several ways, but the goal is always the same, the destruction of societies and independent nations:
1. The Left opposes God-assigned gender roles and family structure. This is manifest in opposing the “patriarchal” family structure designed by God, where the husband/father in the head of the wife, and children are required to honor and obey their parents. The left pushes the idea that when wives are submissive to their husbands, they are being oppressed and must be “liberated.” When children are disciplined by parents, they are “victims” of abuse and must be liberated. Parents, (especially fathers) are portrayed in media as oppressors, and stupid, while children are portrayed as smarter and better informed then parents. This is done heavily in childrens’ programming, even cartoons. Normalizing fornication and adultery in the media, movies, TV, music, especially “rap,” is all part of this. The promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism (rejecting biological sex and gender) is the most recent front in this battle between the “Left” and the “Right.” The promotion of “abortion rights” is really about free sex with no consequences. In any case, the result is the destruction of the family unit. This is necessary for the ultimate goal, destruction of civilized society.
2. The Left opposes Law and Order which was instituted by God for a civilized society. The Left does everything it can to cause the breakdown of civilized society by making criminals the “victims” and law enforcement “oppressors.” Open borders are a manifestation of this, flooding the nation with drugs and illegal aliens, especially criminals. The Left then makes drug users and dealers the “victims” and takes tax-payer money (which should be going towards uplifting our citizens and communities), spending it on illegals under the guise of “compassion.”
3. The Left indoctrinates children and gullible people with the “victim mentality” rather than educating and equipping young people to be skilled and productive as self-sufficient citizens. They do this in order to make the population dependent on government. They use claims of racism & inequality to defeat the Right, portraying themselves as “compassionate.”
4. The Left opposes a “merit” based economy, where the most qualified people for a particular job get those jobs. A merit-based economy is what provides the incentive for people to learn skills that will allow them to advance and then reap the rewards of their own hard work. The Left opposes this with quotas, claims of “white privilege,” pretending “compassion” for those for whom they have destroyed the motivation and incentive to work hard and better themselves. The result is that jobs are filled with unqualified, lazy, and entitled people, and such a company becomes less productive and unable to compete with the flood of cheap foreign goods. This in turn severely weakens the economy and everyone loses opportunity and prosperity.
5. The Left is driven by greed and power, usually funded by billionaires, who profit from a global economy. They do this by shifting manufacturing outside the US to where there is virtually slave labor and then importing these cheaper products where US companies cannot compete. This is BECAUSE US companies are required to provide a minimum wage and benefits (which the foreign companies do not do). Again, this is just another component to the ultimate goal where a few extremely wealthy elites run the world and the masses of people are reduced to meager existence.
6. The Left is addicted to deficit-spending, higher taxes, and government borrowing to the point where paying interest on the national debt reaches a level that is unsustainable, and the economy collapses. Again, this is essential to the ultimate goal of a one-world government with the few elite billionaires or trillionaires running everything.
7. The Left promotes endless wars as a means to drain the economies of prosperous nations, and to make themselves richer by their investment in businesses that produce weapons. This is referred to as the “military industrial complex.” Again, the “victim mentality” of pretended compassion for some particular people group being oppressed by some “bully” nation is the justification for continued wars. The invasion of Iraq under false pretenses that they were hiding weapons of mass destruction is an example of this mentality even in the Republican party (the G.W. Bush administration). BTW, it is these “war hawks” within the Republican party that are also the Republican opponents of Trump. The Republican party is corrupt also, with some of the above “leftist” ideals, but not nearly as much as the Democrats which have been taken over almost completely by the Left.
The “Right” opposes all of the above, and in principle seeks a governmental structure that is much closer to what God originally put in place. Of course, it is much more complex than this, as many on what is considered the “right” have a perverted sense of what God originally had in mind for human government and nationalism and impose a form of racism upon the Scriptures and therefore on their politics. But this is because their religion has been perverted.

You are 1000% correct. I have seen exactly that “spirit” in and among some who were formerly affiliated with this ministry. Misplaced patriotism, devotion to certain conspiracy theories, and exaggerated egos led to open rebellion against very clear commandments of God, thus rebellion against the authority of the Kingdom of God. This is serving two masters. My wife and I became victims of this very thing and a campaign of lies when I took my stand on patriotism to God’s Kingdom — obedience to God’s commands, especially submitting to governing authorities, including paying taxes (Rom. 13:1-8). I had to separate from certain people simply because I cannot tolerate the pollution of this ministry with that “spirit.” This is especially critical in the last days when even family members will betray one another. Patriotism is fine as long as it does not encroach upon 100% devotion to Phil. 3:20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,” and Matt. 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.” I am a “patriot” to the Kingdom of God, which commanded me to obey the current governing authorities which are ordained by God (even during the Biden administration).

Yes. I got a rude awakening after reading the book “In God we don’t Trust”. It certainly was not the history I was taught in school. Recently I received a picture in my email from someone asking if it would make for a cool t-shirt. It was a bleeding Jesus wearing a crown of thorns and carrying an AR-15, US flag waving in the background. I thought myself, “Yup that about sums up the spirit of American Patriotism as a religion today.”
Yes indeed. “God,” Jesus,” and the “cross” are curse words on the left. On the right they are buzz words to get people to vote for you or buy your product. I saw a commercial the other day which highlighted God, guns, and whiskey, selling whiskey. Mentioning “God,” “Jesus,” and the “Cross” have been reduced to “virtue signaling,” even among Christians. And war is almost always justified using God.

I completely agree that the backlash from the direction of the current administration’s policies, if they don’t succeed will be concentrated against Christians and it will be severe. I’m ALREADY experiencing that backlash to a small degree from certain people I know. The policies and direction of Trumps administration are so abrupt and “radical” that the far left has become enraged to the point of psychosis. There is (and will be) no reasoning with the satanic mental illness that has overcome them. It is in perfect alignment with Rev 12 where Satan is enraged and attacks the remnant of the seed of the woman. As for me and my house, we are preparing for the worst and are praying to have the strength to escape. Quite literally our prayer is “God help us!!”
This is the danger of mixing Christianity with politics or patriotism. It brings the wrath of political opponents upon Christ and Christians who are supposed to represent Him. It also misrepresents Christ as holding whatever political views Christians hold. A case in point is how outspoken Christian Zionists misrepresent Christ and the Gospel to both Jews and to Muslims. It portrays a false God who favors Israel and hates Palestinians. It is almost as bad as Islam which makes Muslims approved of God and Jews and Christians hated.
