January 17, 2024 at 3:43 pm in reply to: How can we be sure that 1 Timothy 6:13-16 is referring to God having immortality #5086RaymondParticipant
So In this verse:- Revelation 19:16 NKJV And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Is Jesus representing the King of Kings his Father or is He going to be Kings of Kings when he comes back to earth or something else?
Thanks

So that means that The God the Father is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords? Is that correct?
Thanks

RaymondParticipantHi Sam,
A number of people will survive the great tribulation that have not taken the mark of the beast, but who never came to faith. I dont know how Christians can think that no one will survive in the whole world from the seals, bowls and trumpets. Just like WW 1 and 2 did not impact many nations around the world so will the events of Daniels 70th week. At the battle of Armageddon it is only military personnel that are killed.
Remember that the tribulation events and much of the war will not be world wide contrary to what the pre-tribbers think. A lot of the fighting will be around the Middle East area as the scriptures indicate.
I hope this helps.
RaymondParticipantHi All,
Thanks to Anders and Tim for the input on this question. I now have a better understanding of the timing and why people come up with different timings for the 2 witnesses.
RaymondParticipantHi Anders,
Thanks for your reply. It does seem a bit unclear about the two witnesses and the timing involved.
I tend to believe that the 3.5 days are literal after their deaths. The problem is that they go up into the clouds which could mean heaven. I think Tim believes that they are relocated to the wilderness with the people who fled Israel after the Antichrist has made his entrance and we have precedent for that with Elijah in the OT and Phillip in the NT.
The one thing that I thought was important was that the Temple sacrifices could only start once a prophet has anointed the chief priest as Tim has stated. I dont know which scriptures in the OT support this. This implies that the 2 witnesses have to be active at the beginning of the 70th week if the temple starts operating at that time.
It would be good to get Tims input on this subject.
Below is Tim’s translation of Rev 11.
Blessings Raymond
Chapter 11
1 And a reed like a measuring rod was given to me and I was told: “Arise and measure the Temple of God, the altar, and those worshipping in it.
2 And exclude the court outside the Temple. You should not measure it because it was given to the Gentiles (they will also trample the holy city forty-two months).
3 And I will give to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days clothed in mohair.”
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands having come to stand before the Master of the Land.
5 And if anyone is willing to harm them, fire goes out from their mouth and consumes their enemies. And if anyone should be willing to harm them he must be killed in this manner.
6 These have authority to lock the sky, so that no rain may fall in the days of their prophecy. And they have authority over the waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the land with every blow, as often as they should be willing.
7 When they should finish their witness, the beast, ascending out of the deep, will do battle with them, will conquer them, and will kill them.
8 And their corpses will lie upon the street of the great city which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Master was crucified.
9 And those from the peoples, and tribes, and languages, and nations watch their corpses three-and-a-half days. They do not permit their corpses to be put in graves.
10 And the dwellers on the land cheer over them, and rejoice, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the land.
11 And after the three-and-a-half days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet. And great fear fell on those watching them.
12 And they heard a loud voice from the sky saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended into the sky in the cloud and their enemies watched them.
13 In that hour there was a great shaking, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand people were killed, and the rest became terrified and gave credit to the God of the sky.RaymondParticipantTim,
You have helped me so much with both answers. I should have replied sooner.
Blessings
RaymondRaymondParticipantThanks Anders,
You have confirmed my conclusion but I thought I might have missed something.
This is interesting as there are so many in the past and now that make predictions who they think is the antichrist. So we will see who are the 10 Kings and then wait to see who rises up to take charge once the 2 witnesses are killed. This can play out in so many ways in the world today.
It hope to be alive (63 now) when this all happens to help and teach what I know to first encourage the church and then see many saved. We will be able to explain that God and Jesus have prophesied about the 70th week and how it will play out. There will be so much confusion and fear that we will need level heads and good people around us.
Blessings

I think the Gospel which has been taught in the West has been sadly lacking that a Kingdom has been prepared for us when Jesus comes back. There has been no hope given to people when there is so much due to what the Kingdom means to us as children of God.
The focus has been just getting saved and then going to heaven and the resurrection has been seen just as an add on. Most dont know what happens at the resurrection and what it will mean for them.
It has been a joy to finally understand the full gospel which has the over arching theme for the Gospel.
So many have not understood that God created earth for us and all that is in it and around it for us to enjoy. That He is going to fulfill that desire for us by Jesus coming back to rule and reign so we can enjoy what God has prepared for those that love Him.
It is you Tim that has opened my eyes to all this and helped me to piece together what I had learned over the years.
I believe that God and Jesus are well pleased with you. You have sought answers and God has led you to find them. You have not given up and I have no doubt that you had a number of times that it crossed your mind.
Blessings, Grace and Peace Unto You from
Raymond and Sarah my lovely wife.
RaymondParticipantAnders,
That is just great. Thank you such much!
I hoped someone would have put together a flowchart.
I have looked online for examples and they were so wrong and gaudy.
Thanks again.
This will be so helpful as a teaching tool and hopefully help many get to grips with this interesting subject and book called Revelation.
I have so enjoyed Tim’s teaching on this subject and his insights. I think he is the most accurate teacher on this subject in the world.
Blessings Raymond
RaymondParticipantHi,
I have seen the teaching on the 5 messengers in Revelation 14 and so I now have a good framework for me to get a picture.
Thanks
RaymondParticipantThanks Tim.
I somehow did not think about it being a BBI module.
July 1, 2022 at 11:33 am in reply to: How does “Times of The Gentiles” stop Gentiles from being Saved #2713RaymondParticipantI think just using the term “until the times of Gentiles have come in” implies that no more will be able to come in.
Why would God even mention this event if it did not mean something specific which is important?
Maybe it relates to the gospel having been preached in all the gentile nations of the world so there is no excuse for mankind.
July 1, 2022 at 10:25 am in reply to: Are the Two Others in Daniel 12:5-7 the 2 Witnesses In Revelation #2712RaymondParticipantRandy,
I am right on board with John being 1 one witness and Elijah being the other. It is so plain when you see the text after the 7 thunders portion of scripture, plus the companion mention in Rev 1.
You make a great point that John would not been referred to in Daniel as one of the others.
I first thought when reading that portion of scripture was that it was not the two witnesses.
Surely the Lord would have led Daniel to write two witnesses if that was the case.Blessings Raymond

That makes sense. However in BBI XI:28 (Revelation 12-14 Intro, Part 2), Tim says that ”the times of the Gentiles” will last until the beginning of the tribulation, then no more Gentiles will be saved.
Anders stated this is his question to Tim about the question and I heard it to. I am currently going through the Revelation teaching again and came across it.
So I just wanted to know firstly is this what Tim meant and then based on which scriptural foundation.
